We have been looking at ways to honour our brave little boy Joel.We really liked an idea started in the states by the McLuckie family in honour of their little son Connor. Connor is another brave little boy who also lost his fight with
CONGENITAL DIAPHRAGMATIC HERNIA
Every year on Joels birthday we are asking friends and relatives and anyone else who would like too,to donate a new childrens book. These we will then donate in Joels name to a childrens facility such as a hospital or school. On Joels first birthday we would like to donate the books to Knollmead primary school which is the school Joel would have attended. The books will all have a book plate added as below
Joel was born with a
Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia
Despite a very brave fight
Joel lived for just 17 hours
Through these books, his memory lives on
and the huge impact he made on
our lives will continue

Thank you very much to everyone who donated books this year to Joel's Books. The books are being donated to Knollmead Primary School as Joel would have started in nursery there this coming september. It means so so much to us that people remember our little boy on his birthday and that because of all of you, we can donate these books in Joel's memory to places where other children will enjoy them.
